Karaoke and Kuala Lumpur

After Bali we came to Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. The city is super clean and is a shopping mecca! Seth and I roamed the ENORMOUS
malls for hours and Seth now knows words like "Mikimoto" and "Hermes."

During our first morning here, we jumped into a cab and two minutes into the ride our driver pulled out his microphone and yanked down his sun visor to reveal a video screen...it was a karaoke cab! We ended up jamming out all the way to the Petronas Towers attempting to sing Chinese love ballads at 8 AM...only in Asia.

Off to Siem Reap in Cambodia next. We'll be checking out the wats (temples) in Angkor.

  1. Too bad he didn't offer a video at the conclusion of the drive. Now there's a video to share with friends :)

  2. ok, how can there only one comment on this? This is HILARIOUS! I'm not sure what is funnier - that your trip has turned into a crazy version of America's Next Top Model (come on, Seth, give me FIERCE when you talk Hermes) or that you two sang Karaoke in a CAB! What a riot - and I agree with Andrea...would have LOVED to see that one in person....take care you two! Continue to have fun (fashion-laced) adventures!

  3. I totally agree-- this has got to be one of the top five crazy things to have happened this trip, right?! Amazing Race had an "obstacle" where they had to sing karaoke in a cab-- so funny!!!
